The actions of a foreign citizen aimed at inducing a pregnant woman to have an abortion can lead to administrative arrest for up to 15 days or expulsion from Russia. This was announced on October 17 by Natalia Moskvitina, Deputy chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on demography, protection of family, children and traditional family values.

"The text of the draft law assumes that declension committed by a foreign citizen or a stateless person will entail the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of 50,000 to 100,000 rubles with or without administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation, or administrative arrest for up to 15 days with or without administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation," — she told TASS.
