- The lawyer stated that it was impossible to deprive Pugacheva of her citizenship and pension.
Singer Alla Pugacheva will not be able to be deprived of her old-age pension, however, if a criminal case is initiated and she is found guilty, she may lose her state titles and pension supplements. This was announced on October 17 by lawyer, retired lieutenant colonel of the internal Service Elena Brown.
According to the expert, all Russian citizens who have acquired citizenship by birth or naturalization have the right to a labor pension. At the same time, it is impossible to revoke citizenship obtained by birth.
"Currently, it is not possible to objectively deprive Alla Pugacheva of her pension before initiating a criminal case under any of the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. However, if a criminal case is initiated and a court decision is made, it is possible that she may be deprived of honorary titles and pension supplements," the RIA Novosti lawyer noted.
Earlier, on October 14, the head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project, Vitaly Borodin, announced the launch of an investigation into Pugacheva's possible connection with foreign intelligence services. He suggested that one of the singer's last interviews could have been organized with the participation of the British special services.
