Singers who performed songs of foreign agents were arrested in St. Petersburg

On October 16, young musicians who performed the songs Noize MC (Ivan Alekseev, recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent), Monetochki (singer Elizaveta Girdymova, recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) and other performers included in the register of foreign agents were arrested in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the portal 78.ru in his Telegram channel.

It is noted that the Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg has ordered the administrative arrest of two musicians of the Stoptime band — drummer Vladislav Leontiev and guitarist Alexander Orlov. Leontiev received 13 days, Orlov — 12. The musicians claimed that the concert was spontaneous and uncoordinated with the authorities.

It is emphasized that the singer Diana Loginova (known under the pseudonym Naoko) was also detained. Subsequently, the court imposed an administrative arrest on her for 13 days.

"The court has now brought the soloist to justice for a performance that took place on the evening of October 11 near the second lobby of the Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station, where about 70 people gathered," the portal said in a statement.

The musicians were found guilty of an offense under Part 1 of Article 20.2.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Organization of mass simultaneous stay of citizens in public places, resulting in a violation of public order").

Earlier, on October 15, it was reported that the police had detained 18-year-old street singer Diana Loginova, a student at the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College. She performed at the intersection of Bolshaya Konyushennaya Street and Nevsky Prospekt, where a large crowd gathered. The singer's repertoire included songs by Monetochka and Noize MC, recognized in Russia by foreign agents. A protocol was drawn up on Loginova in accordance with Article 20.2.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
