Two musicians who performed Noize MC songs were arrested in St. Petersburg.
The Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg ordered the administrative arrest of two musicians of the Stoptime group who performed Noize MC songs (Ivan Alekseev, recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) and other performers included in the register of foreign agents. This was announced on October 16 by the joint press service of the city courts in its Telegram channel.
Drummer Vladislav Leontiev and guitarist Alexander Orlov were placed under arrest. Leontiev received 13 days, Orlov — 12. The musicians claimed that the concert was spontaneous and not coordinated with the authorities.
"My friends called me, I didn't expect so many people to come," Leontiev explained.
Orlov noted that he came to the police after the arrest of his girlfriend, the vocalist of the band Diana Loginova (known as Naoko). The defense requested that the proceedings be discontinued, but the court upheld the decision.
Earlier, on October 15, it was reported that the police had detained 18-year-old street singer Diana Loginova, a student at the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College. She performed at the intersection of Bolshaya Konyushennaya Street and Nevsky Prospekt, where a large crowd gathered. The singer's repertoire included songs by Monetochka and Noize MC, recognized in Russia by foreign agents. A protocol was drawn up on Loginova under Article 20.2.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
