Hollywood Undead band cancels concerts in Russia

The American rock band Hollywood Undead refused to perform in Russia "under public pressure." This was announced on October 16 by the Melnitsa concert agency, which organized the performance.

"At the last moment, before going on sale, under public pressure, Hollywood Undead decided to postpone their visit to Russia," the agency's Telegram channel says.

They noted that the band is very upset that despite their great desire to perform in front of the fans, circumstances prevented them from doing so.

Earlier, on October 3, Ukraine's Ambassador to Switzerland, Irina Venediktova, sent letters to members of the Zurich Cantonal Council demanding that performances by Russian opera singer Anna Netrebko and other artists at the Zurich Opera House scheduled for November next year be canceled. Venediktova also pointed out the artist's participation in the ceremonies of the Sochi Olympics and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
