The main educational award of the country is Knowledge.The Award announced the composition of the Expert Council. It included more than 300 representatives from all regions of Russia. They will form a federal shortlist in 15 nominations, as well as choose the best educator and educational project in each region of the Russian Federation.

"To select the best in all regions of Russia, we have developed an objective evaluation system: each application is reviewed by five experts. Only one of them is from the same region as the applicant. This will eliminate any bias and ensure the exchange of experience between different parts of the country," said Kirill Khvil, Deputy General Director of the Russian Society Znanie.

The Expert Council included representatives of the cultural sector: Olga Kazakova, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Culture of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Elena Malysheva, Head of the National Center for Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation; Vitaly Martynyuk, Executive Director of the Russian Military Historical Society; Elena Starostina, Executive Director of the Russian Book Union; Boris Mashkovtsev, General Director of the Soyuzmultfilm Film Studio; Tatiana Sharshavitskaya, First Deputy General Director of the State Tretyakov Gallery, and others.

Science and education are represented by Nikita Marchenkov, Chairman of the Coordinating Council for Youth in Science and Education at the Presidential Council for Science and Education, Alyona Arshinova, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Ekaterina Kharchenko, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Acting rector of the St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education named after K.D.Ushinsky Andrey Bogdantsev and others.

Among the managers in the field of economics and industry: Ilya Zubkov, Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Anton Urusov, Executive Director of the Management Company of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kristina Potupchik, founder of the K2 strategic consulting agency, and others.

The applications are also evaluated by the heads of patriotic organizations: Dmitry Afanasyev, Executive Director of the Association of Veterans of a Special Military Operation, Anna Babkina, Chairman of the Volunteer Medical Association, Anastasia Ryabova, Executive Director of Volunteers of Victory LLC, Maria Mukhina, Executive Director of the Russian Red Cross LLC, and others.
