More than 800 basements of apartment buildings have been put in order on Sakhalin

Since the beginning of 2025, 834 basements of apartment buildings have been put in order in the Sakhalin Region. By the end of the year, the work will be completed in 947 premises.

Governor Valery Limarenko instructed to eliminate the problems of flooding in basements in all districts of the region. The forces of management companies, the Capital Repair Fund, municipal authorities and the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services are involved. This is reported by SakhalinMedia news agency.

Major repairs of the basements are also ongoing. As part of the capital renovation program, 306 premises will be put in order by 2027. Specialists will replace drainage systems, engineering networks and install waterproofing. The region will spend 1.6 billion rubles for these purposes.

A day earlier it was reported that heating was turned on in 73 regions of Russia.
