Hongqi H9 premium sedan received a V6 engine and all-wheel drive in Russia
In Russia, orders have been accepted for Hongqi H9 executive sedans in a new modification, which is characterized by a powerful engine and the presence of an all-wheel drive system. The model specification appeared on the brand's official website.
The restyled Hongqi H9 is offered to Russians with a three-liter turbocharged V6 engine with a capacity of 326 hp (450 Nm), a classic eight-speed automatic and an all-wheel drive transmission. The price of the car is 9.99 million rubles.
Before that, the sedan was available on the Russian market only with a two-liter 245—horsepower turbo engine, a seven-speed "robot" and rear-wheel drive, now such a modification will cost almost twice as much - for 4.78 million rubles.
The Hongqi H9 with a V6 engine accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds (compared to 7.8 seconds for the old version), and its top speed is 15 km/h (245 km/h) higher.
The updated Hongqi H9, which has only just appeared in Russia, debuted in China last year. Externally, it features redesigned bumpers and a radiator grille, and in the interior, in particular, the central and driver's screens have been updated. The restyled version also features a pneumatic suspension with the ability to adjust ground clearance in the range of 188-248 mm, door guides and wireless charging for smartphones in the second row of seats.
Earlier, on October 13, it became known that certification of the Hongqi L1 luxury sedan has begun in Russia, and sales are scheduled to begin before the end of 2025. In China, the model is known as Hongqi Guoya, where the sedan costs 1.4–1.86 million yuan (about 16-21 million rubles in translation).
Prior to that, on August 28, Hongqi announced that the new HS7 full-size crossover would be presented in Russia in two trim levels priced from 4.79 million and 4.99 million rubles, respectively.
