Forecasters predicted rainy weather on the weekend

On the weekend of October 18 and 19, Muscovites expect cool and mostly cloudy weather. Rain is possible on both days. Yandex Weather analysts told Izvestia about this on October 17.

Cloudy and rainy weather will continue throughout the day on Saturday, October 18. The wind is north-westerly and easterly, with gusts up to 4 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +7 degrees, in the afternoon and evening it will remain at the same level, and at night it will drop to +6 degrees.

"In the cities of the Moscow region, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the daytime temperature will be close to Moscow — about + 6 degrees, and weather conditions will remain similar to those in the capital," the forecasters said.

On Sunday, October 19, the weather will remain cool and cloudy. The wind is easterly and northeasterly, with gusts up to 6 m/s. In the morning, the temperature will be +5 degrees, in the afternoon it will rise to +7 degrees, in the evening it will remain at the same level, and at night it will drop slightly to +6 degrees. In the Moscow region, the temperature background is expected to be at the Moscow level, in some places 1-2 degrees lower.

Under the big forecast: when to expect snow in Moscow

On the night of October 13, the temperature may drop to zero — and then it will only decrease.

On October 15, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, said that a cold snap was observed throughout Russia, as a result of which the country's transition to winter mode could be said. Even in the southern regions of the Russian Federation, there is a cooling. Despite maintaining fairly comfortable temperature values up to +18 degrees, these values will soon decrease.
