ROSSETI and the African Chamber of Energy will develop cooperation
Andrey Ryumin, Head of the ROSSETI Group, and Anjay Ayuk, Executive Chairman of the African Chamber of Energy, summed up the results of their bilateral cooperation over the year. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the international forum "Russian Energy Week".
The parties discussed the current challenges facing the industry in Africa, including the development of comprehensive energy infrastructure development programs. Ryumin and Ayuk also discussed the need to integrate renewable energy sources and storage systems into energy systems, the introduction of advanced scientific and technical developments and personnel training.
"We are closely following the solution of energy supply problems in Africa, we are in dialogue with colleagues from Tanzania, Senegal, Ghana, Morocco and South Africa," said Andrey Ryumin. He expressed confidence that the development of relations with the African Chamber of Energy will contribute to the search for the most effective options for cooperation.
The results of the African Energy Week, which was recently held in Cape Town (South Africa), were also discussed. As part of this large-scale event, ROSSETI held a series of meetings with African companies and agencies.
