Maly Theater and GIM launch the project "Voices of the Maly Theater – the official voices of the Historical Museum"

As part of a new joint project, the Maly Theater and the State Historical Museum have prepared a special audio guide to the museum's permanent exhibition, voiced by the voices of theater artists.

The special project "Voices of the Maly Theater – the official voices of the Historical Museum", thanks to the skill of theater actors, turned into a fascinating audio tour of museum exhibitions. Using an audio guide recorded by excellent artists of the Maly Theater, visitors to the Historical Museum will be able to learn about rare exhibits, important events and prominent personalities of bygone eras.

"The Historical Museum has a rich collection of unique monuments related to various stages of the formation and development of the Russian state. Thanks to our new project with the Maly Theater, museum visitors will not only be able to find answers to many questions about Russian history, but also immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the events of the past. This became possible with the help of talented reading by the actors of the theater," says Alexey Levykin, General Director of the GIM.

Audio guides for permanent exhibitions throughout the museum complex were recorded by artists of the Maly Theater troupe – People's Artists of Russia Lyudmila Titova, Svetlana Amanova, Honored Artists of Russia Vasily Dakhnenko, Vasily Zotov, artists Konstantin Yudaev, Lyubov Yeshchenko, Stanislav Soshnikov.

Common cultural values become a source of inspiration, and the past becomes a reason to reflect on the present and reflect on the future," says Tamara Mikhailova, director of the Maly Theater.

As part of the project, audio guides were prepared for the permanent exhibitions of the Main Building of the Historical Museum and the Museum of the Patriotic War of 1812, the Golden Storeroom of the Historical Museum, as well as the Pokrovsky Cathedral (St. Basil's Cathedral) and the Chambers of the Romanov Boyars.
