Nikolai Kizyun, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, who repeatedly participated in Victory parades, died at the age of 97. This was announced on October 16 by lawyer Alexander Zorin, representing the interests of the veteran.

"Yes, indeed, today at 06:10 a.m. [he died] in the hospital," he told TASS.
