A power line substation caught fire due to falling UAV debris in the Volgograd region.

In the Volgograd region, a substation of a power transmission line caught fire due to falling debris from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on October 16 by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov.

"As a result of the fall of UAV debris in the Novonikolaevsky district, a fire was recorded on the territory of the Balashovskaya power line substation, which was promptly eliminated by fire fighting forces. Repair services are restoring power supply to the settlements adjacent to the substation," the administration of the Volgograd Region quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.
