Fraudsters began sending remote access programs to online banking to Russians.

The scammers began sending video files to messenger users, installing a program on the phone for remote access to the victim's online banking application. This became known on October 16 from the materials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"A potential victim receives a message from a friend in a messenger with a link to the video. After opening the file, an online banking remote access program is installed on the mobile phone, with which scammers can withdraw their existing savings to their electronic wallet," TASS informs.
