Units of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Crimean paratroopers continued to paralyze logistics and disrupt attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sumy area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on October 16 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the calculations of the attack drones of the Crimean paratroopers destroyed an armored combat vehicle (BBM) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So, the first drone immobilized the equipment and forced the Ukrainian military to leave the armored personnel carrier, and the second one completely destroyed the car.

"The car was hit by the first drone. <...> From objective control, we watched as two hundredths, three hundredths were pulled out of there. With the next drone, we finished off this armored personnel carrier, it burned down," said the commander of the reconnaissance unit with the call sign Arbat.

Such strikes force the personnel of the Ukrainian military to move on foot.
