In Poland, the Norwegian military has built a training ground for Ukrainian soldiers to control unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was reported on October 15 by the Pravda Norway portal.

"In just a few weeks, we have managed to create a training center for NATO and Ukrainian soldiers in Poland. A runway has been prepared there for drone takeoffs, as well as a whole training ground for drones," said Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh.

He also noted that up to 700 Norwegian soldiers can be deployed in Poland as part of this training center.

Earlier, on October 15, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that the Ukrainian authorities were preparing to continue fighting for another three years. He called it reasonable and called on Europe to also plan to support Kiev for this period.

On October 12, US President Donald Trump expressed confidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin would resolve the Ukrainian conflict.

On the same day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had held telephone conversations with Trump for the second time in the last two days, which he called "very productive." According to him, during the conversation it was possible to reach agreements on energy, air defense and long-range missiles.
