In Luhansk, a large fire broke out in an apartment building on Taras Shevchenko Street. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the fire engulfed the attic and roof on a total area of about 1 thousand square meters. m. "The fire occurred in a three-storey apartment building. Rescuers are working on the spot, residents are being evacuated," the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted.

45 employees and nine pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Information about the victims has not yet been received.

Earlier, on October 13, it was reported that investigators had opened a criminal case into an explosion in a multi-storey building in Alchevsk, Luhansk People's Republic, where two people were killed. Investigators and criminologists were working at the scene.
