Belousov announced the intensification of NATO intelligence near the borders of Russia and Belarus

NATO has stepped up intelligence and combat training work on the eastern flank, which is located on the borders with Russia and Belarus. This was announced on October 15 by Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov at a meeting of the joint board of the defense ministries of the two countries.

"The Alliance maintains a significant forward military presence on the eastern flank of the bloc. He has intensified combat training and intelligence activities near the borders of our countries," Belousov said.

Belousov added that the total number of forces that were involved by NATO in the past exercises near the eastern borders of the organization amounted to about 60 thousand troops.
