The UK has opened a case on the fact of the organization of underground casinos in Vladivostok

In Vladivostok, the police closed two illegal casinos that had been operating for more than a year in the Sovetsky district of the city. A criminal case has been opened, the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Primorsky Territory reported in its Telegram channel on Wednesday, October 15.

The investigation believes that an organized criminal group organized the operation of two illegal casinos in non-residential premises on Russian Street and 100 Let Vladivostok Avenue. The establishments operated from August 2024 to October 2025.

"The investigators of the regional Investigative Committee of Russia conducted searches in all the premises. The equipment that was used in the commission of crimes, as well as communications equipment and money were seized," the ministry said in a statement.

Searches also took place in the homes of the organizer and the administrator of gambling establishments, IA PrimaMedia clarifies.

A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 171.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal organization and conduct of gambling"). The maximum sanction of this article provides for up to six years in prison with a fine of up to 1 million rubles.

In June of this year, it was reported about another closed underground casino in Vladivostok. It was located on the ground floor of a building on Ivanovskaya Street and operated around the clock.
