A woman died in a head-on accident on the Ussuri highway in Primorsky Krai.

In the Chernigov district of Primorsky Krai, a woman was killed and two more people, including a six-year-old girl, were injured in a head-on collision of passenger cars. This is reported by the Regional Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, October 15, on the 597th km of the federal highway A-370 "Ussuri". It was previously established that the 28-year-old driver of a Honda Fit, in which there were four passengers, drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Toyota Aqua.

As a result of the collision, a 40-year-old passenger in the front seat of a Honda sustained life-threatening injuries. She died on the spot, PrimaMedia news agency clarifies.

A 51-year-old and a six-year-old passenger of the same car were also injured in the accident. Both were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. It is noted that the child was transported without a special child restraint device.

The police are conducting an investigation into the fatal car crash. All circumstances are being established.

On October 12, a Toyota Corona was involved in an accident in Khabarovsk, the driver of which lost control. As a result of the collision of a car with a pole, a motorist was killed.
