The Haval Jolion crossover has surpassed the Lada Vesta and has become the best-selling new car with an automatic transmission in Russia. This was reported on October 15 by the analytical agency Autostat.
Thus, according to the results of the first nine months of this year, sales of Haval Jolion with automatic transmission reached 40.5 thousand units (-33% YoY), while Lada Vesta, which was the leader in this rating in the first half of the year, will have a circulation of 34.6 thousand units (+76%). The third was the Belgee X50 crossover (26.3 thousand units; +9%), which is produced in Belarus.
The Changan Uni-S / CS55 Plus, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, Omoda C5 and Chery Tiggo 4 are next in the ranking of the most popular automatic models. The Haval F7 and Belgee X70 rounded out the top ten.
Analysts noted that in the top ten popular new passenger cars with automatic transmissions, sales of the Belgee X70 crossover increased better than others — by about 18 times. They fell the most at the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max crossover — by 54%. In the whole market, the share of new Automata passenger cars in the first nine months amounted to 71.2% (637.5 thousand units), which is 20% less year-on-year.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that by the end of September, the Lamborghini Urus supercross became the best-selling new luxury car in Russia, this Italian model topped the rating for the first time this year. Both in the first nine months and separately in September, sales of luxury cars in the country increased.
Yesterday it became known that the Belarusian crossover Belgee X50, which is produced at the plant near Minsk based on the Geely model, became the best-selling new car in Moscow in 2025. Geely Monjaro, which was the leader in the first half of the year, was the second.
