Novak said Russia was discussing humanitarian aid supplies to Syria
In the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed with Syrian transitional leader Ahmed al-Sharaa the supply of humanitarian aid to Syria. Alexander Novak, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, told about this on October 15 in response to a question from Izvestia.
"The issues of humanitarian supplies [to Syria] were discussed. In particular, the Syrian side is interested in supplying wheat, food, and medicines," he said.
