- For two months they have been trying to catch parrots that have flown away from their owners in Moscow.
Moscow residents have been trying to catch two exotic parrots in the Babushkinsky district for more than two months. This was reported by a source of Izvestia on October 15.
"They don't let people get close to them, they are friends with pigeons, they fight with crows," residents say.
Eyewitnesses say that exotic birds spend their leisure time on tree branches, and spend the night in private and courtyard dovecotes. At the same time, they have nothing to eat — they eat yellowed leaves from hunger. Concerned residents are worried about birds, because lack of food and low temperatures threaten the lives of exotic birds. The owner of the parrots has not yet appeared.
On October 3, the Indian bird kalao, which escaped from the Leningrad Zoo, was caught in St. Petersburg. The footage shows zoo staff trying to put the escaped bird in a car in order to return it to its enclosure.
