In St. Petersburg, intruders replaced the contents of a safe in the rented apartment of an associate professor at the University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which contained money and jewelry. This was announced on October 15 by a source of Izvestia.
It is specified that the safe contained documents for real estate in Sochi and Vyborg, 150 thousand rubles, $ 500, € 1000 and jewelry. The amount of material damage is almost 2.5 million rubles.
The theft was allegedly committed between September 30 and October 13. The apartment was not equipped with a video surveillance system.
On June 7, in St. Petersburg, fraudsters convinced a 13-year-old child to let them into an apartment and stole more than 6.2 million rubles. Introducing themselves as law enforcement officers, they convinced the child to let them in for a search. The girl let in strangers, who as a result stole money and jewelry from the safe, and then disappeared.
