The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Moldova has challenged the verdict of Marina Tauber, executive secretary of the executive committee of the Pobeda bloc, demanding an increase in her sentence. This was reported on October 15 by the Moldovan portal Noi.md .

According to the newspaper, the prosecutors consider the verdict unfounded in the criminal case of alleged interference in the affairs of justice. The previously imposed sentence of seven years and six months in prison, set by adding up the terms on four charges, allegedly does not correspond to the gravity of the crimes committed, the prosecutor's office believes.

Earlier, on September 30, a court in Chisinau sentenced Tauber in the case of alleged financing of the Shor party. She will serve her sentence in a semi-closed prison. It was clarified that the decision was made as part of a trial, the details of which were not disclosed.
