In Russia, the National Welfare Fund (NWF) is expected to increase by 78 billion rubles by the end of this year. This was announced on October 15 by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.

"By the end of 2025, on the contrary, we expect to replenish the National Welfare Fund by 78 billion rubles, but this will happen according to our rules at the beginning of next year," Siluanov said.

In addition, he also added that the total amount of NWF funds at the end of 2025 will amount to 13.6 trillion rubles.

Siluanov announced on August 27 that the Russian economy will grow by at least 1.5% in 2025. According to him, this year there are tough conditions for monetary policy.
