The decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), which ordered Russia to pay compensation to Georgia for the events of 2008, has no significance for the Russian Federation. This was announced on October 15 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We believe that this is a separate topic, a separate substance. We will not implement the decision," he said at a briefing.
