Rosprirodnadzor announced the launch of the All-Russian campaign "Ecoelka"
The start of the traditional New Year's Eve campaign "Ecoelka" was announced today by the head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova. The All-Russian action takes place within the framework of the VI season of the International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business". Anyone can become a participant by creating a New Year's toy from used plastic. The best decorations will become a festive outfit for the main eco-village of the country. The purpose of the campaign is to show how the recycling of waste helps to reduce environmental damage. Creative works are accepted from October 15 to December 1, 2025.
The third All-Russian campaign "Ecoelka" accepts handicrafts made of used plastic from children and adults from all over the country. Svetlana Radionova recalled that last year, the participants sent about 7 thousand New Year's eco–friendly toys to the Rosprirodnadzor prize "Ecology is everyone's business" – snowmen, nutcrackers, dolls of the peoples of Russia, locomotives, cones, and, of course, the symbol of the award is a white bear. The decorations are based on a wide variety of plastic products: bottles, polyethylene, broken toys, medicine blisters, and even remnants of building materials. The participants gave a second life to unnecessary things, showing that recycling materials not only reduces environmental damage, but can also bring joy and positive emotions. Anyone can take part in the Ecoelka campaign. It is necessary to make a New Year's souvenir out of plastic with your own hands and send it to the award's eco-mail address: 119017, Moscow, Bolshaya Ordynka str., 29, building 1, Ekoelka, on demand.
"Russians are very fond of our traditional Eco-Village campaign. Incredible in beauty, and most importantly, eco–friendly crafts are real works of art. Once again, we will dress up the main eco-village of the country with stunning decorations from all over Russia. Join us! Fantasize, turn garbage into a New Year's miracle. May creativity in a warm family circle bring you the joy of communication and the realization that unnecessary things can turn into memorable and dear to the heart. This campaign teaches us to take care of the environment, instills respect for nature," said Svetlana Radionova, head of Rosprirodnadzor.
The most striking decorations will be on display at the Moscow Zoo, the country's main eco–park. The entrance to the zoo will be free for the authors of the toys. The idea, appearance and complexity of the product will be evaluated. If desired, the toy can be signed by specifying the name and surname of the author and his city. In the letter, you can tell us what materials the souvenir was made of. It is better to use standard sizes. It is also important to take care of the safety of the craft during its trip to Moscow.
The creativity, warmth and care invested in the creation of these toys will give a truly kind and New Year's mood, Svetlana Radionova emphasized. And recycling and recycling of plastic will reduce the burden on the environment.
