The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections decreased in the Murmansk region

A decrease in the rate of registration of acute respiratory viral infections was recorded in the Murmansk Region. The results of the weekly monitoring were reported in the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

In the period from October 6 to October 12, the proportion of cases among children was 44.4%. Schoolchildren and children aged 3 to 6 are mostly ill, 46.6% and 32.2%, respectively.

In addition, the situation with the incidence of coronavirus has stabilized in the Murmansk region. During the week, 23 such cases were identified. The indicator is 3.5 per 100.0 thousand population. This is more than 4% lower than last week, writes the Bi-port news agency with reference to the agency.

Earlier, on October 10, it was reported that at least 23 Russian regions have seen a decrease in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections. Traditionally, the increase in colds begins in September, experts recalled. But this year, the predicted rise in infections has shifted due to the warm weather in early autumn.
