Tyumen Region to raise the cost of a patent for migrants

The cost of a patent for migrants in the Tyumen region is planned to increase by 22% at once. The relevant bill has been submitted to the regional Duma, according to the Hurrah news agency.<url>" on Wednesday, October 15th.

The document gives foreigners the right to work in the region. The fixed advance payment in 2025 is 9385 rubles per month. It is proposed to set it at 11,471 rubles for the next year.

The cost increase will occur due to an increase in deflator coefficients, which form the patent price. In 2026, both the federal indicator (from 2,594 to the projected 2,791) and the regional indicator (from the current 3,015 to 3,425) will increase. These coefficients multiply the amount of the fixed payment — 1200 rubles per month.

Earlier in September, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he considered it possible to consider abolishing the patent system for migrants.
