In his opinion, the old design is aimed at fostering patriotism and pride in the country, unlike the modern document.

"I ask you to evaluate the expediency of a creative rethinking and the return of the design of the birth certificate, which will echo the Soviet model. Such a step will speak about the continuity of the visual code of the documents, as well as perform an additional educational function," RT quoted him as saying.
