"Two fire trucks, one rescue vehicle and four ambulances have been sent to the scene," the Guayaquil fire department said.

Earlier, on August 10, it was reported that eight people were killed as a result of shooting at patrons of a nightclub in the city of Santa Lucia in Ecuador.
