Guard Sergeant Bazhenov destroyed the AFU FPV drone during the defense of equipment

Guard Sergeant Ivan Bazhenov destroyed an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the zone of a special military operation (SVO) during the defense of automotive equipment. The Russian Defense Ministry announced the exploits of Russian servicemen on Wednesday, October 15.

It is clarified that while performing the task of delivering fuel and lubricants and ammunition to Russian servicemen, Bazhenov discovered an approaching FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He immediately reacted by organizing the defense of automotive equipment. Without waiting for the Ukrainian drone to attack, Bazhenov destroyed it with targeted fire from standard small arms.

Thanks to Bazhenov's actions, the supply group ensured the timely and expeditious delivery of fuel, ammunition and materiel to the line of contact, which allowed the Russian military to continue destroying armored vehicles and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and capture the stronghold of the Ukrainian military.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted Sergeant Viktor Barantsev, who killed three Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers during an assault on a stronghold on the outskirts of one of the settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

It is noted that while carrying out the combat mission to storm the fortified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he eliminated three Ukrainian soldiers with a well-aimed shot from a grenade launcher, and also participated in the cleansing of the captured fortified position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Thanks to Sergeant Barantsev's professional training and dedication, the Russian military not only completed the combat mission, but also disrupted the logistics of supplying Ukrainian troops in this area.

Earlier, on October 14, Corporal Pavlov destroyed three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine without loss of personnel. It is specified that after receiving the combat mission to capture the stronghold of the Ukrainian military, Pavlov was the first to notice the oncoming movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Having shown composure and accuracy, the corporal opened aimed fire from a machine gun and killed three personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
