The author of posters for the films "Back to the Future" has died And Drew Struzan's "Star Wars."

American artist, author of posters for the films "Back to the Future" and "Star Wars" Drew Struzan died at the age of 79. This was announced on October 14 by his brother Greg Struzan.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that Drew Struzan passed away yesterday, October 13," Greg Struzan wrote on the artist's Instagram page (owned by Meta, whose activities are banned in Russia as extremist).

Struzan is the author of posters for such films as "Star Wars", "Back to the Future", "Blade Runner", "Indiana Jones", the trilogy of cartoons "How to Train your Dragon" and many others, Variety magazine notes. He also designed the covers of various music albums, including for Alice Cooper, The Beach Boys and The Bee Gees.

Earlier, on October 9, Variety magazine reported the death of American actor Ron Dean, known for his role in the film "The Dark Knight." The artist died on October 5, his beloved Maggie Neff told the press about it. According to her, before his death, Dean was able to say goodbye to his relatives.
