Air defense forces shot down eight Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions in three hours

Air defense systems destroyed eight drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over three regions of Russia. This was announced on October 14 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"From 17:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, eight Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department's Telegram channel said.

They clarified that three Ukrainian drones were eliminated over the Crimea, four drones over the territory of the Bryansk region and one over the Belgorod region.

The United States is discussing the supply of Tomahawks and Barracudas to Kiev, as well as intelligence to attack Russian energy infrastructure.

Earlier in the day, the air defense forces destroyed 40 Ukrainian UAVs over the regions of Russia overnight. So, 17 UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region, 12 over the Voronezh region, three each over the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Black Sea. Two drones were eliminated over the territory of the Tambov region and Crimea, and one over the Kursk region.
