- A pedestrian network will be built in Sevastopol from Kazachaya Bay to Ligovskaya
A pedestrian network with a length of 1 km will be built in Sevastopol. It will connect the Kazachya Bay educational center and the Ligovskaya Street bus stop, the press service of the city government reports.
The builders started work on October 10. It is planned to lay 1.8 thousand square meters of asphalt and install 1.7 thousand meters of curbs. Fertile soil will be poured on the sides of the new road, writes IA SevastopolMedia.
"This segment is very important, as it is the connecting artery through which children get to the educational institution, and it will be convenient for local residents to walk not along the inner—city road along which cars drive, but along a comfortable path," said Alexey Zubarev, deputy head of the mining facilities management department.
According to him, the contractor is working quickly — the territory has already been marked out, the foundation for asphalt and curbs is being prepared. It is expected that the construction will be completed in December 2025.
Earlier it was reported that they plan to build a shelter for stray dogs in Sevastopol. Rooms and enclosures must accommodate up to 600 animals.
