A series of events dedicated to the Day of the Young Voter will be held in Moscow until November 30. Among them are educational lectures, business games, educational quizzes, and open dialogues with experts, the Moscow authorities said.
"Only in October, the events will take place in several districts of the capital. For example, there is a forum dedicated to the specifics of the electoral process, an interactive quiz and an expert session on innovations in the electoral system with the participation of chairmen of territorial election commissions, deputies and representatives of city departments," said Marina Prozorova, Deputy head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities, member of the Moscow City Election Commission.
In particular, the forum "Peculiarities of the electoral process in Moscow" will be held in the North-Eastern District on October 16 with the participation of invited guests. Among his topics are modern forms of voting and Moscow's youth policy.
On October 28, a round table dedicated to innovations in Moscow's electoral system will be held in Troitsk and Novomoskovskiy districts. Chairmen of territorial election commissions, representatives of the Moscow Youth electoral club, young members of precincts of election commissions and high school students will take part in the discussion. They will discuss issues of remote electronic voting and the use of new technologies during the campaign period.
