Sobyanin spoke about the progress of the renovation of new buildings

About 8,000 residents of Moscow are currently moving into new housing provided to them under the renovation program. At the moment, 14 new buildings built as part of the program are being occupied, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his channel on the IACH.

On October 14, the keys to the new housing were handed over to residents who, as part of the renovation program, chose a place of residence in a new building on Nagornaya Street in the Moscow district of Kotlovka. The residential complex was built within walking distance from two metro stations — Nagornaya and Nagatinskaya, as well as the Verkhniye Kotly MCC station. There are kindergartens, schools, clinics, as well as a ski resort in the vicinity of the new housing provided to the newcomers. In the 188-apartment building, all apartments have been commissioned with improved finishes. Residents have access to underground parking, playgrounds and a place to relax in nature, a barrier—free environment has been created for low-mobility residents, and the ground floor premises are specially designed to accommodate shops near the house and service enterprises. The new building is connected to an individual heating point, it uses an automated system for monitoring and accounting of energy consumption, which will help residents save on utility bills.

We are also ready to accept new residents for the renovation of 13 residential complexes in different districts of the capital, including Beskudnikovsky, Bogorodskoye, Golyanovo, Vykhino-Zhulebino, Kuzminki, Lyublino, Biryulyovo Zapadnoye, Nagatino-Sadovniki, Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, Troitsk, Yuzhnoye Tushino and Vostochnoye Izmailovo. According to the mayor of the capital, since the beginning of the renovation program, over 235,000 Muscovites have moved into new apartments or are in the process of moving.
