Russian President Vladimir Putin and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon noted that the documents signed in Dushanbe will give a new impetus to the development of partnership and alliance. This was reported on October 14 in the Kremlin's Telegram channel.

"During the conversation, Vladimir Putin thanked President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon for the hospitality and warm welcome extended during his state visit to Tajikistan, and also noted the high level of organization of the second Russia–Central Asia summit and the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS in Dushanbe," the statement said.
