The 4.5 billion ruble gas pipeline in the south of Crimea will be completed in 2026

The inter-settlement gas pipeline on the Southern coast of Crimea will be completed by September 2026. The work is divided into three stages, the first two have already been completed, the press service of the republican Ministry of Fuel and Energy reported on Tuesday, October 14.

The pipe is being laid from the Veseloe gas distribution station in the village of Opolznevoy to the urban-type settlement of Foros, where specialists are currently working. At the third stage, more than 3 km of the planned 7.8 km gas pipeline was laid.

The cost of the project is 4.5 billion rubles, writes IA SevastopolMedia. The facility is being implemented within the framework of the state program "Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol".

Earlier it was reported that reverse traffic was opened in Crimea on the bridge over the railway tracks near the village of Petrovka in the Krasnogvardeysky district. The passage is available only for passenger cars and emergency vehicles.
