In Krasnoyarsk, work has begun to strengthen the slope on Daurskaya Street, which was washed away due to heavy rain last August. This was announced on Tuesday, October 14, according to the press service of the city's Specialized motor transport company.

Due to the incident, the road partially collapsed and an emergency prevention regime was introduced. So that the townspeople could get to their suburban areas, a detour was quickly built, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

Specialists have already removed the weakened soil with the help of excavator equipment. Next, the slope will be filled with inert materials — crushed stone of different fractions. A diversion system will also be built to prevent such situations.

Earlier it was reported that a section of the Sayany highway and two bridges located on it will be repaired in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The work will take place in Kuraginsky district.
