Fishing was banned off the coast of Yalta for four months
Fishing off the coast of Yalta will be banned for four months from November 1, until February 28. Restrictions will apply at a distance of less than 100 meters from the shore, the press service of the city administration reports.
Fishing will not be allowed in the waters of the Yalta passenger and cargo ports, the Artek port, as well as along the central embankment up to the mouth of the Vodopadnaya River. Fishing in designated areas is allowed outside the 100-meter zone.
As noted by IA SevastopolMedia, the measures are being introduced by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture to preserve and increase aquatic biological resources in the Black Sea.
Earlier it was reported that a retaining wall in the Primorsky Park, which was damaged during the flood in 2021, is being restored in Yalta. Repairs are funded from the reserve fund of Crimea.
