The Belarusian crossover became the bestseller of the Moscow car market
The Belarusian crossover Belgee X50, which is produced at the plant near Minsk based on the Geely model, has become the best-selling new car in Moscow in 2025. This was reported on October 14 by the analytical agency Autostat.
In total, 4.9 thousand copies of the Belgee X50 were sold in the capital from January to September. Geely Monjaro, which was the leader in the first half of the year, was the second (4.8 thousand units). Haval Jolion took the third place in the rating (3.6 thousand units), followed by Belgee X70 (3.3 thousand units) and Lada Granta (2.7 thousand units).
In the brand rating, Geely holds the lead (11.4 thousand units), which displaced the Haval brand (11 thousand units) to the second place, which was the most popular in the first half of the year. Belgee rose to the third place (8.2 thousand units). Then, with the same results, Chery and the domestic Lada follow (7.4 thousand units each). The indicators of the other brands amounted to less than 5 thousand cars.
In just nine months of 2025, 110.8 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Moscow. This is 25% less year-on-year. Chinese brands account for 62% of the capital's car market at once, and the share has decreased from 70% over the year, experts estimate.
On September 30, Belgee introduced the new S50 sedan to the Russian market. The model is produced at the Belji plant in Belarus based on the well-known Geely Emgrand in the Russian Federation. The car went on sale in four versions priced from 1.85 million to 2.27 million rubles.
