Russia welcomes the desire of US President Donald Trump to focus on resolving the conflict in Ukraine after signing a peace agreement on the Gaza strip. This was announced on October 14 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"Of course, we welcome such intentions. We welcome the continued confirmation of the political will to contribute in every possible way to the search for a peaceful settlement," Peskov said.

He also stressed that Russia is open to peaceful dialogue.
