There have been 325 road accidents in Russia over the past 24 hours.
Over the past day, 325 accidents have occurred on Russian roads, in which 37 people were killed and 391 injured. This was reported to Izvestia on October 14 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
There were 19 accidents involving buses, in which 21 road users, including one child, required medical attention. The reason for 10 bus accidents was traffic violations by their drivers.
As a result of 97 accidents involving pedestrians, one person was killed, and 92 more were injured in various degrees of severity. Among the injured are 22 children, 15 of whom were injured at pedestrian crossings, and seven outside the pedestrian crossing. Of the total number of pedestrian incidents, 53 occurred at pedestrian crossings and 44 outside their area of operation.
In addition, 39 accidents involving minors were registered, as a result of which two children were killed and 41 young road users were injured, including 15 passengers, one cyclist and two motor transport drivers.
So, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, on 1,344 km of the federal highway M-5 Ural, in the morning, a 26-year-old female passenger car driver drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a truck moving in the opposite direction, after which the car caught fire. A female driver and her two passengers, including a seven-year-old girl in the back seat, were killed in the accident.
In the Krasnodar Territory, on 40 km of the Novorossiysk - Kerch federal highway A—290, an 18-year-old passenger car driver with 4 months of driving experience lost control in the rain at a bend in the road, drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a truck moving in the opposite direction. The driver and his two passengers were killed in the accident, including a 15-year-old boy who was in the front passenger seat.
