The first transit flight from China to Europe passed through the Northern Sea Route

The first transit flight from China to Europe successfully passed through the Northern Sea Route, reducing the delivery time by half compared to traditional routes. This was announced on Tuesday, October 14, by the Rosatom State Corporation.

"On October 13, 2025, the first-ever container transit from China to Europe via the Northern Sea Route arrived at the British port of Felixstowe, which left the port of Ningbo on September 23," the state corporation said in a press release.
