In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, a woman died from electric shock while watching TV. On the fact of the incident, the SU TFR in the region began checking.

According to the <url> news agency, the incident occurred at one of the suburban areas in Gubkinskoye. Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim dead.

Experts have determined that the TV was the faulty appliance. The emergency services called on residents to regularly check the serviceability of electrical appliances, and safety measures must be observed when using them.

Earlier, on October 10, it was reported that a 17-year-old boy died from an electric injury in Yakutia. According to preliminary data, the minor was using the phone while it was charging. At that moment, he was electrocuted.
