Miroshnik reported 21 deaths in a week due to the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the regions of the Russian Federation

As a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the period from October 6 to October 12, 21 civilians, including six children, were killed in the regions of Russia. This was announced on October 14 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

"During the week from October 6 to October 12, 2025, 104 civilians were injured by the shelling of the Ukrainian Nazis: 83 people were injured, including six minors, 21 people were killed,— Miroshnik wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that the Ukrainian army used at least 3,422 shells in total. According to the ambassador, the Belgorod, Kherson and Kursk regions, as well as the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), suffered the most from the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Miroshnik added that the key targets of the enemy's strikes were facilities of the fuel and energy complex, residential buildings and cars.

On October 11, Alexander Khinshtein, Governor of the Kursk Region, announced that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) had been attacked in the village of Nizhnemakhovo A civilian was killed in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The head of the region expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased.
