French President Emmanuel Macron's ultimatum to Russia is verbiage and an attempt to raise his authority at someone else's expense. This was announced on October 14 by Mikhail Sheremet, a State Duma deputy from the Crimean region.

"Macron is engaged in his usual verbiage and makes puny statements, trying to raise his authority at the expense of Russia in the face of ordinary French people who hate and seek to oust him.
