Microsoft has officially discontinued support for Windows 10 worldwide from October 14, 2025. The company announced this on its website.

Microsoft will no longer provide technical support or release software and security updates.

"Without further software and security updates, your computer will be at greater risk of infection with viruses and malware," the publication says.

The corporation recommends switching to a more modern version of the operating system.

Earlier, on September 17, Microsoft announced the termination of support for Windows 10. The company reported that the operating system will have completed maintenance for the release of version 22H2 (Home, Pro, Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise editions). The monthly update for October will be the last update available for these versions.
